Millions Missing 2019

Millions Missing 2019

Join us for #millionsmissing in Birmingham

For the 3rd year running we are joining with Birmingham group SSBS4ME.

To make the invisible visible for a day we will have banners, posters and shoes; to tell the story about how ME and other invisible illnesses like Fibromyalgia affect people, causing them to missing from normal daily activities, their family life and work, especially for those who are housebound and bedbound.

To give MEAction an idea how many will take part please RSVP here: https://my.meaction.net/calendars/millionsmissing

Wear you #mm t-shirt (over your coat), wear lots of warm layers. Bring a drink/snacks, an umbrella and a folding chair.

The Cathedral give us access to toilets, including a disabled toilet. There is Blue Badge parking around the Cathedral and at the Council run Snow Hill car park, where it is unlimited and free. Other car parks are nearby.

Walsall Fibro & ME Link

Walsall Fibro and ME Link is a volunteer run Support Group for those with M.E./CFS and Fibromyalgia, their families and carers. We’re run by people affected by both conditions.

Our main objective is to break the isolation that can come with these conditions. We have Support Group Meetings once a month in Walsall, a Group Library and produce a monthly newsletter.

We are able to provide information about local services, ideas for self-management and we help to raise awareness about the conditions within our Community.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Methodist Central Hall, Ablewell Street, Walsall WS1 2EQ. We often have a speaker to talk to us about related topics that may help sufferers reduce the effect of the many symptoms of Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. See our website for more details.
